SCIM Groups 

We’ve upgraded our B2B Auth API to support SCIM Groups, enabling you to automate SCIM-based role assignments. This feature is critical for your enterprise customers who rely on their identity provider (IdP) as a single source of truth to manage their user pools and authorization systems. With SCIM Groups, changes made to user groups in your customer’s IdP are automatically synced to your application via Stytch’s SCIM API.

You can map these groups to RBAC roles by setting the scim_group_implicit_role_assignments field on the SCIM Connection. This will automatically assign users to roles and permission sets within your application and keep them updated as IdP group memberships change, eliminating the need for admins to manually make updates.

SCIM in the Admin Portal

We’ve added SCIM configuration and management to the Admin Portal for B2B Auth projects. The new SCIM interface enables your application’s admin users to create and delete SCIM Connections with IdPs, as well as manage token rotation, directly through the Admin Portal’s pre-built UI.

In addition to SCIM, you can embed Admin Portal components directly into your applications to create self-serve UI for managing enterprise auth features like Single Sign-On, MFA policies, RBAC, and more. The Admin Portal is available though our frontend SDKs, including vanilla JS and frameworks like React and Next.js.
