Slack and HubSpot OAuth
This week we’ve added Slack and HubSpot as OAuth providers to our B2B Auth platform, in addition to Google and Microsoft. These new OAuth providers, which can be configured in the Dashboard and via API, come with additional auth features.
Email Verification: As OAuth providers, Slack and HubSpot do not guarantee verified email addresses when issuing identity tokens. To enhance security, Stytch provides a mechanism that challenges users to step up and verify their email before being fully authenticated into an organization.
JIT provisioning by OAuth Tenant: You can designate specific OAuth tenants (e.g., a HubSpot
HubID
or a SlackWorkspaceID
) to enable JIT provisioning and bypass the email verification step for any Stytch organization. This feature streamlines the onboarding process for your customers who use Slack and Hubspot as identity providers by allowing you to create a 1:1 mapping between OAuth tenants and Stytch organizations.
