We weren’t satisfied with our pricing model; it was too complicated and locked your growth behind talking to our sales team or a pay wall. 

Stytch is moving away from complicated tiers and feature gating to a simpler model: access all our features and only pay for what you use.

TL;DR: What’s changing

The core pillars of our new pricing are:

• A generous free tier: Our new free tier offers access to all auth and security features and higher usage limits.

• No feature gates: Every Stytch user has access to MFA, SSO, RBAC, SCIM, OTPs—if it’s an authentication acronym, it’s available in our free tier. 

• No caps or cliffs: If you surpass amounts included in our free tier, you can use more without talking to sales and only pay for what you use. 

• Affordable branding customization: Prices have been reduced from $249/month to $99/month.

• A new startup program: Stytch is free until Series A or until three years of incorporation, whichever comes first. Please get in touch at startups@stytch.com for more information.

Free tier enhancements

To better serve you, we’ve expanded the amounts and limits of our free tier features. Here’s a breakdown:

• B2C Monthly Active Users: Increased from 5,000 to 10,000

• B2B Monthly Active Users: Increased from 1,000 to 10,000

• B2B Monthly Active Organizations: Increased from 25 to Unlimited

• B2B SSO/SCIM Connections: Increased from 0 to 5

• Device Fingerprints: Increased from 0 to 10,000

• M2M Tokens: Remain at 1,000

What does this mean for you? 

As of November 1, 2024, the new pricing applies to all Stytch workspaces.

• Platform fee reduction: For customers who were on a paid tier (B2B Standard, B2B Scale, or B2C Standard), we’ve reduced your platform fee from $249/month or $799/month to $99/month. 

• Expanded free tier: Amounts included in the free tier have increased. See the figures above.

• Additional connections: If you’d like to add additional SSO or SCIM Connections beyond the 5 available in the free tier, you may do so and pay $125 per connection without talking to sales.
