Improved Device Fingerprinting Dashboard

The Device Fingerprinting experience in the Stytch Dashboard has been upgraded! With these changes you can expect a more powerful and intuitive experience to help you understand and manage your traffic for maximum control. Key upgrades now available in the platform include: 

• Rule Impact Testing: Test the impact of a rule before deploying it by comparing potential verdict actions over the past 7 days. This creates another layer of protection to ensure you aren’t accidentally blocking valid users, nor are creating a rule that has no meaningful impact on previous activity.

• Expanded Rule Identifier Options: Create rules based on ip_address, country_code, and asn, in addition to existing identifiers. This way you can have more fine grain control over who can access your app, such as allowing known good IP addresses or blocking entire countries without custom logic. Learn more in the docs. 

• Identifier Context: See how many fingerprints share a particular identifier to prevent accidental over-blocking and make informed rule decisions. This way you can choose the identifier that makes the most sense for your traffic easily, and remove false positives.
