Stytch Connected Apps for Remote MCP Servers
Stytch now supports using Connected Apps for remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers!
Read further in our launch announcement blog post with Cloudflare.
With this launch, you can easily add authorization to Remote MCP Servers built on Cloudflare Workers, and any other frameworks supporting MCP Servers using Stytch Connected Apps. This enables end user authentication and client authorization across both your normal web app and your MCP server.
Interested in trying it yourself? Check out our sample application, docs, as well as the recorded live stream we collaborated with Cloudflare on.
Webhooks for Consumer Auth
Stytch’s webhook support now extends to our Consumer Auth platform, allowing you to keep your internal database records in sync with any changes that occur in Stytch that are out-of-band of your system. This feature provides valuable real-time updates on user activity.
You can enroll in webhooks through the Stytch dashboard by specifying which URL(s) you want to receive the webhook POST requests, and the type of events you wish to receive. Currently, we support user mutation webhooks, meaning you can receive webhooks about user creation, updates, and deletion.
To try it out, log in to the Stytch dashboard, click on the webhooks tab in the side navigation, and follow the directions to get started.
